Greek Olive Oil Brand Wins #1 in the World at 2026 NYIOOC

A Greek olive oil producer just topped the world rankings at the largest olive oil competition on the planet. The Master Miller was named the number one olive oil producer globally at the 2026 New York International Olive Oil Competition, beating out producers from Spain, Australia, Italy, and the United States.

The company earned 10 gold medals, a perfect consistency score of 100 out of 100, and a total of 59.50 points, placing first worldwide, first in the Northern Hemisphere, and first in Greece. The NYIOOC has tracked quality across more than 10,000 brands in 38 countries since 2013, making it the most authoritative ranking in the industry.

The result carries extra weight given The Master Miller's track record. Since 2019, the company has collected 54 awards at this competition alone, including 38 gold and 16 silver medals. The company says it now holds 587 international awards in total, making it the most decorated Greek olive oil producer in the world.

Spain's Aceites Oro Bailen Galgon 99 finished second, while Australia's Cobram Estate, the top producer in the Southern Hemisphere, came in third. California Olive Ranch was the highest-ranked American producer at fourth place globally, also scoring a perfect 100 out of 100 for consistency with 51.75 total points.

Greece has now outpaced traditional olive oil giants Italy and Spain at the world's biggest competition, a result that puts Greek extra virgin olive oil firmly at the top of the international market.
